The Minnesota Board of Psychology requires that psychologists list their areas of competencies
with the Board. Competencies can be broad or very specific.
Currently my competencies are as follows:
*Individual, family, marital, and group therapy
Treating survivors of sexual abuse/sexual trauma
Dissociative and trauma disorders
Hypnosis
Eating Disorders
Ego state therapy
Treatment of sexual disorders
Supervision/Consultation
*This is
a broad competency that covers many common issues addressed in individual, family, and/or marital settings such as stress
management, depression, anxiety, and/or adjustment reactions. The other competencies listed indicate areas that I have had
special training and/or supervision for.
