I often have requests for individuals that would like to purchase the DVD: You're Not Crazy and You're Not Alone:  Inside the Inner World of Dissociative Identity Disorder but can't afford it, thus I offer a discounted price of 49.95 for individuals with D.I.D. and their loved ones along with free shipping for those who request it.  For some, this is still too much.  In an effort to provide the DVD for all who are interested I'm asking for your help, as I'm not in the financial position to provide all of these requests on my own.  With every 25.00 donation, I will provide a FREE DVD and free shipping in the U.S. to those who indicate they can't afford the discounted price.  (The DVD is normally priced at 69.95, the University edition is 89.95 and the discounted rate for those with D.I.D. and/or their loved ones s is 49.95).  (Please note that I funded this DVD production due to the passion I have for these individuals and the struggles and isolation they endure.  I did not have grant assistance and I'm not set up as a non-profit thus I apologize that your donation will not be tax deductible.)

Individuals with D.I.D. have suffered repetitive traumatic experiences such as extreme abuse in their childhood, their way of survival contributes to their ongoing struggle with dissociative symptoms. They often feel very alone and isolated given the misconceptions that still permeate the mental health profession and society about the disorder.   This DVD has been a welcomed resource to those who have seen it, it also has served as a helpful tool when an individual chooses to share their diagnosis with loved ones as well as an educational tool for clinicians and University settings.   Please consider donating to the FREE DVD fund so that you and I together can provide a DVD to someone who might not otherwise be able to purchase one for themselves.

This will be on the honor system, just as the discounted price I offer is.  Professionals and Educators are NOT eligible for the discounted price and/or the free DVD's available from the donation fund.  They are very welcome to contribute to the fund though!

Thanks very much for your consideration.  I'm hoping this will be a successful venture and that the funds will always be available to provide a free DVD when a request is made.  My current goal is 100!  Please help me get the fund going.  I will post regularly how many DVD's with your help, we are able to provide free.   Currently, there are requests awaiting donations.  Thanks again for your generosity.

Click here to donate 25.00 and provide one free DVD: You're not Crazy and You're Not Alone: Inside the Inner World of Dissociative Identity Disorder to those who are unable to purchase one for themselves or their loved ones.

It is estimated that one percent of the general population have dissociative identity disorder.  This means that one child out of a hundred suffers repetitive traumatic experiences in their childhood extreme enough to dissociate as a way to cope and often enough that they develop dissociative identity disorder.  Please consider giving the gift of a DVD that inspires hope to those who can't afford it.
